“Expecting Grands: What to Be Called”
If you are an expecting grandparent or perhaps a brand new grandparent, have you thought about what you will be called? It seems like every day we hear a new name for “Grandma” and “Grandpa,” and some of them are interesting and fun.
Maybe you have preferences based on your grandparents or parents. Also consider what the other grandparents will likely be called, and what works for your adult children.
But talk about it now if it’s important to you. If you don’t decide, then you might be called whatever comes out of the oldest grandchild’s mouth. And that can be cute and work fine … or it can be embarrassing.
